Djuna (Pronounced “Junah”)
Born and raised in Venice, Djuna is proud to be a native. She has been a licensed hairstylist for 14 years. Djuna spent 5 years doing hair and makeup for feature films before deciding that the salon was where her heart is. She is very talented at cutting both women and men’s hair. While she is very experienced in doing traditional foil hilites, she also specializes in doing balayage hilites. Balayage is a technique which requires painting the the hilites on the hair to give it a beachy look while adding natural looking dimensions by picking up on the undertones of your hair. She likes to stay up to date on current hairstyles and her priority is to maintain the integrity of the hair. She believes that when a client leaves her chair their hair should look like they just stepped off the cover of a magazine.
